From HR To Healing
I began my career in Human Resources, drawn to the human in the work—interviewing, coaching, and supporting employees through challenges like anxiety, depression, and caregiving stress. Over time, as HR shifted toward metrics and data, I realized I was missing the deeper connections that initially inspired me. That realization led me to take a sabbatical and explore new paths.
I hold a Masters degree in Counseling- Marriage and Family Therapist from San Francisco State University. Along with both a Bachelors and Masters in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University, with a special emphasis in Human Relations.
Through a chance opportunity with a joint education program between a mental health agency and a school district, I pursued a Master’s in Counseling, launching a 20+ year career in clinical practice, education, and mentorship. I’ve had the privilege of empowering clients, guiding emerging counselors, and working alongside colleagues in both clinical and academic settings.
My approach is grounded in simplicity, warmth, and authenticity. I believe transformation happens in real connection—between therapist and client, teacher and student, and teammates working toward shared purpose. I bring humor, humility, and a down-to-earth style to my work, always striving to make healing accessible and inclusive.

Clarity With Compassion.
I hold an MS in Counseling (Mariage and Family Therapy) from San Francisco State University. Along with both a BA and MS in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University, with a special emphasis in Human Relations. And like many of us. I’ve earned a PHD in life.
Treatment Approach
I provide an integrative, culturally responsive approach to mental health and personal growth. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, De-escalation, and Effective Communication to help individuals manage stress, shift unhelpful patterns, and build healthier relationships.
With a deep understanding of how cultural messages—particularly within Middle Eastern communities—shape our emotional well-being, I offer a space where clients can explore identity, heal from intergenerational wounds, and navigate change without shame. I also emphasize the importance of understanding mental health basics, reducing stigma, and empowering clients with tools they can use in daily life. My goal is to make healing accessible, relatable, and rooted in human connection.
